If I had to guess, I'd bet that you picked up a copy of my book, Warriors in Recovery. I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed writing it!
I learned so much about these women that trusted me with their stories. So much about addiction, recovery, and the stigma that is associated with it.
The fact is, more people struggle with alcohol and drugs than we care to admit. In fact, if I asked you if you knew someone that struggled, I would be surprised if your answer was no.
What's that say?
Drug and alcohol addiction is an epidemic. It tears families apart and causes more pain than much of anything I can think of.
It's why I became a codependency coach. I know these struggles. I've been there. I can relate to the pain in your heart and in your voice. I've found peace in my life and I want to help you find peace, too.
In the book, I write about light moments:
If you are reading this book and considering what I'm saying. . . you are in a light moment. Take advantage of it and do something right now that pushes the needle forward.
Reach out to a friend.
Catch a meeting.
Make a plan.
Reach out for help.
If you love someone with addiction and feel that the relationship is stressing your life, please reach out. Let's chat. Book a 30 minute call. It's a light moment . . . take it and run ~
